This area contains a collection of relevant Leonardo da Vinci projects concerning the themes of transparency of competences and qualifications, credit transfer and validation of non-formal and informal learning. The collection is meant to highlight some concrete examples of projects implemented in the fields of interest for our Thematic Monitoring Group and, of course, it does not claim to be exhaustive with respect to all the experiences carried out in the framework of the Leonardo da Vinci Programme. It is built as an open database which can be constantly enriched and updated with new relevant initiatives.   

The projects have been classified on the basis of two main criteria:

• their contribution to two strategical European policy issues (Mobility and Employability);  
• their relevance with respect to the three main themes approached by the Thematic Group (Transparency of competences and qualifications; Credit transfer; Validation of non-formal and informal learning).

The database was realised by the Italian National Agency (ISFOL) for LLP – Leonardo da Vinci Sectoral Programme, with the support of the Austrian, French, Slovak and Norwegian National Agencies as for the collection of projects infosheets, as well as the contribution of all the other NAs and the Executive Agency, which are members of the Group. We thank all the Agencies not participating in the Group, which have actively contributed by providing with relevant project examples.

This initiative is financed by the European Commission – Directorate General for Education and Culture in the framework of the Thematic Monitoring activities of the Leonardo da Vinci Sectoral Programme.
